Flannel Friday is the last post of each week. It’s all about standing up from the office chairs, walking outside into the fresh air and not looking back until Monday.
In our spare time, my brother and I love getting away from it all and meeting and profiling local people from the surf and snow communities here in the NW. I do the writing, and he makes the videos. One of the nicest people we”ve met is Olympic Peninsula surf artist Todd Fischer. He’s been painting watercolors since he was a kid in the early ’70s, and just recently made it his full-time gig. He lives and works just a block from the beach, and from the window above his work table you can see the windblown whitecaps of the Hood Canal and the snow-capped peaks of the Olympic Mountains.
