We’re months past the January New Year’s resolution gym rush, and are now into that wonderful time of year when every magazine in every grocery store checkout aisle is splashed with headlines like, “WHIP THAT BOD INTO SHAPE FOR BIKINI SEASON!!!”
Even if you haven’t yet succumbed to the seasonal guilt-inducing hype, you may be considering joining a gym just for a change of pace, or to amp up your regular workout routine. But you don’t want to be one of those people who wastes money on stuff you never use, right?
Assuming we’re talking about a gym that you can reasonably afford, here’s our take on whether or not you should pay up to join.
