After a long night’s sleep, the first thing I do when I get up is drink a glass of water to rehydrate my body.
On an empty stomach, drinking a glass of water is beneficial to your health. It aids in colon cleaning, the removal of toxic toxins from the body, and the improvement of your metabolism and immune system.
Surprisingly, this daily practice of “drinking water” is firmly entrenched in Japanese society, which boasts the world’s greatest life expectancy. To remain healthy, most Japanese ladies drink water first thing in the morning before cleaning their teeth.
2. Take a chilly shower

5. Make a clean bed

However, studies have shown that making your bed in the morning may be harmful to your health.
Dust mites are unable to thrive in the warm, dry conditions present in an unmade bed. It’s difficult to imagine, though, that not making your bed would have any major impact on overall humidity.
And, although it is a valid cause, it should not be used as an excuse to avoid making your bed.
Every morning, I just spread my blanket evenly to cover the sheet and symmetrically place my pillows on top of it. That is all there is to it. It takes less than a minute to accomplish this, and your room will immediately seem clean and neat.
If you work from home, having a well-organized exterior environment can help you feel better and be more productive. This is particularly true if you work from home, like I do, and you’ll want to keep any external distractions to a minimum.
Then I’ll have my breakfast while feeling thankful for three things. It might be anything as easy as gazing out my window at the beautiful blue sky, birds singing, and the aroma of coffee.
I’m ready to take on the remainder of my day now!
